What IT outsourcing is
IT outsourcing means using people or services from an external company instead of building every capability in-house. The term covers several quite different models: from one developer joining your team, through a dedicated team, to handing a whole project or the operation of a system over to a vendor.
What separates the models is mainly who manages the work and who is accountable for the result. ARDURA Consulting supplies specialists and teams who work under your management, and when you would rather hand over the whole thing, we deliver the project through our Software development service. We do not offer managed services as a standalone service: we take over maintenance under an SLA after a project we delivered or rescued ourselves. IT outsourcing models
Four models we work in, plus managed services, which we run only after a project we delivered.
Body leasing
One specialist joins your team and works in your tools, follows your processes and reports to your managers. We handle sourcing, the contract and billing; you set the tasks and the priorities.
Staff augmentation
A planned extension of your team by several people or by the roles you are missing, usually for a longer period. The mechanics are the same as body leasing, and the market often uses the two terms interchangeably. The difference is mostly scale and planning.
Dedicated team
A complete line-up of several roles, for example developers, a tester and an analyst, working together on your product or on a separate workstream. We share the coordination with you, while direction and priorities stay on your side.
Project outsourcing (turnkey)
We take on delivery of a whole project, from analysis to rollout, through our Software development service. If a project has already stalled with another vendor, Software Rescue stabilises it and sees it through.
Managed services
Not offered as a standalone service. When we deliver a project for you through Software development, or rescue one through Software Rescue, we can take over its maintenance under an SLA after go-live.

Technical interviews
You interview the candidates and verify their skills. Only a person you approve joins the engagement.

Contract and onboarding
We sign a B2B service agreement, and the specialist gets access and joins your team. The standard process takes two weeks.

Working in your team
The specialist works under your management. A dedicated account manager on our side monitors the engagement and collects feedback, and billing is monthly.

Scaling
Additional specialists join within two weeks. Scaling down follows a standard notice period of 2–4 weeks, which is negotiable.

Who manages the specialist’s work?
You do. The specialist works in your team, following your processes and priorities. We keep the formal side and a dedicated account manager who monitors the engagement and steps in if something is not working.
